razmuff
Ok so I have an exo terra viv for my Golden bell's. I set it up using Hydroton as the base which is being held together to form an island with weed mat, on top of this is a layer of coco coir then Sphagnum on top. My issue is that the substrate is slowly sliding into the water (I want an "L" shaped area of water). My dilemma is that I now need to pull it apart and re do it, I want to have natural looking banks not mini cliffs that would not be produced if I use a rigid product to contain the Hydroton. So my questions are: 1) How do I contain the Hydroton to create my land area. 2)How do I make natural looking banks. I'm slowly making myself nuts by reading and re reading forums for ideas.
