suphew
Do you have a feeding cone? I have never worried to much about a little extra dirt and just dump a clump of worms into the feeding cone. I'm not suggesting this is a good idea, but it is what I do and I have never had a problem in the years I have been doing it.
Caryl
A sheet of glass over the worm culture and the worms attach themselves to the glass (if it is dark).
malawi_man
do they climb up the sides Caryl??
Alan
Once in the tank, any that survive, sink to the bottom where the corydoras will greet them with wide open eyes and mouths. In the breeding container, if they start climbing they are too wet, and the lot will die. Or they are too dry, and overheated they will also climb. I cover my guys with plastic shetting (breadwrap), and wash them off by dipping it into water in a bowl from there they are fed out. I feed them slices of bread, broken into quarters, squeezed of the water they soaked in. Alan
Caryl
I laid the sheet of glass flat on the dirt and kept them dark. When I lifted the lid there would be worms on the glass so I would just swish it in the tank then put it back on the culture.
