Squirt
Hi all I have bought some white worms off TradeMe and was wondering what people used as a medium? I have read that people use potting soil, so I checked the garden shed and we have some potting soil but it contains a fertilizer. Is this okay to use? I also went to some of the shops and I couldn't find any potting soil without fertilizer. Any help is appreciated.

alanmin4304
I breed grindals in peat with a little ground up eggshell to stop it getting too acid so I assume that would be OK as well.

peet
I just use potting mix from bunnings. I feed premium dog pellets soaked in water for a few mins.... Worms seem to do great. I chuck out half the old mix every couple of months and mix in new potting mix to keep it fresh
