aotealotl
From what I understand about leds is you get what you pay for. does not rectify a price of $145 for such an ordinary product
Humkon Mili
I have no experience at all with LED lights for the Aquarium but I need a light source so the plants in my Axolotle tank are happy. the Axolotle like it darkish but the plants need some light. I found this one on ebay.com, could that be something for my plants ? or what do I have to look for in a LED light which will support the plants ? thank you... You can find more in other websites in china as well... I bought some there and really pleased to have those :-)
kathy82
I am thinking of ordering some of the waterproof 5050 white LED light strips, they would be used in conjunction with my Stock T8 fixture with an Aqueon Plant bulb. Please let me know if this is a bad idea or not, i want to add some more white light to my tank as the plant bulb really makes things look reddish. Li@m
Here is a little something I learnt about LEDs and LED quality. There are only a few LED producers in the world and LEDS are made in batches and each batch is graded by quality. The price of the LED is determined by the quality of the LED (LEDx might be the same as LEDy and a lot cheaper but LEDx will be higher quality.)
