Shop not looking after fish

It was a bit tricky when the girl wasn't interested. I'm going to go back and try and see if i can speak to the owner or at least the other people working there. I think its a joint venture with the shop next door, which happens to be some kind of restaurant.Just gotta feel for the fish in there though. They had a tank with Angels but lots were either dying or dead and being eaten.

The quality of the fish section highly depends on the aquaria manager. When you have someone involved who is passionate, then the tanks are kept in good order and interesting fish are brought in. When Morcs worked at animates Henderson it was looked after better than it is now.

lol had a customer today that was told by another store that "Axolotol's need to be able to get air from the surface to breath and that they need a dry area to climb out onto"

also that "pea gravel is good as they eat stones which is good for them"

and that 3 in a 60cm x 30cm tank was a good idea....

nah, if that was the case they would be more intelligent

its amazing how much a single good person can change a shop though, one local store that I know was really bad for a while, then they got a couple of good people in, they improved heaps, I think at least one has left though as its beginning to slide again.

unfortunately profits seem to rule in this industry. funny thing is it doesn't cost much money to spend the time required to keep your fish properly.
