Pippin Posted November 9, 2012 Report Share Posted November 9, 2012 Hi I have been cycling my new juwel 450ltank for a month and it is quite "dirty" and murky a bit, a lot of green and brown algae. calculator Posted November 9, 2012 Report Share Posted November 9, 2012 And is your problem just algae, or is the water itself dirty? If the water is dirty you need more mechanical filtration, that could be done by just adding some more filter wool to your current filter. If your problem is just algae then there really is not much of a solution, as algae just grows naturally, the best you can do it either clean it off or put a fish in the tank that will eat it.
