blueether
I have just moved the 430L back inside after having the carpets done the other month so I thought is was a good time to setup a auto shutoff for when filling the back up during a w/c setup: 12v solenoid 1/2 inch garden hose (tap fitting) 20mm hansen female/female 90deg 20mm hansen male/barb 450mm of 20mm black alkathene (too many holes, only really needed them in the last 100-150mm) 15mm male bung Viedo:
smidey
nice work. is the switch boyant enough to shut off with the water level or is there a float that will be attached?
blueether
The switch is a little float switch and worked fine, I even managed to get it at the right level first time os that the water is above the level of the bottom edge of the hood
David R
Cool little gadget, but I think I'd rather just watch it while its filling...
Ira
Cool little gadget, but I think I'd rather just watch it while its filling... I'd also rather watch the tank while it's filling. That's the direct cause of the many overflows over the years when I stop paying attention. Protip: Don't play video games while the tank is filling. I have over flowed the tank by doing just that  This way there is a safety for the new carpet and my kneck
