calculator
I have a 1.2 meter, 150L ex turtle tank (the turtles have been move to a pond out side as they out grew the tank), and I want to stock it with something different to fish. I was wondering what do people think I would look good stocked in it?

calculator
That could be interesting, but I posted it in the Reptiles and Amphibians board because I was thinking that a reptile and amphibian is what I want to put in it, but thanks for your input any way. calculator
Not a fan of axolotols, I was thinking frogs or newts, but what sorts of them can you get in New Zealand.

calculator
How about something like insectdirects frog setup? http://i730.photobucket.com/albums/ww30 ... ogtank.jpg That looks nice, what sort of frogs would I get to go in there, and where would the best place to get them from be? emaytiti
Tried something similar, but did not look as good as insectdirect's. I got a tank custom built with a pond in the front with some fish and then lots of moss and mini native trees, etc. Any frog really? Maybe not whistlers unless you give them alot of trees to climb etc. golden bell would look best imo. But its up to you, problem would be trying to source them as there aren't many around atm. alanmin4304
Green and golds would be the best in Auckland I would think. Chinese or Japanese fire bellied newts are available from time to time. Chinese eggs available on trademe a while ago.
