Kellz
Hey guys... I have been searching for a New Zealand fish forum and FINALLY found one.. while the American ones are great for advice I really needed one closer to home... As quite often you need a little more advice from the petshop worker who doesn't know a thing about fish. So its good to to talk to people who have been through what you are going through..... I'm 17 years old and kept Goldfish (as we all do) for the past 14 years I recently got into tropicals and loving it.... I currently have a school of 4 Clown Loaches.. I have 3 tanks.. 20 gallon, 15 and 25 Cheers guys...
Pegasus
Hi there Kellz, and welcome to the NZ Fishroom. Glad you found us and hope you find some interest in the forum. "Close to home" these days seems to be just a click of the keyboard You are in good company here, I think we all love Clowns, and would all like to hear more about your fish. So whatchagot in the other tanks ? Regards, Bill (Pegasus)

It doesn't have to be though, once the initial outlay is done. Try joining one of the local clubs (there are a couple in the Wellington area, FNZAS and otherwise). These can be a good source of cheap fish and equipment as well as excellent advice and the chance to talk fish without people looking at you too strangely. Welcome aboard, Andrew. Goldie
hi and welcome. The clown loaches are fantastic. I have four in one tank and two in another. Love just coming in to watch their antics. They all hand feed now and are so gentle in taking the blood worms, just like feathers on the hand. Yes join a local club. I have found that 'fishy' friends are fantastic and they have saved me from many a crisis. Love your signiture sign.
