James125
How many mls in 37.5 grams???, having trouble working it out, and the net is no help either?
James125
1ml of water = 1 gram, but then aparently it depends on the density of the material
GrahamC
Grams is a measure of weight, and the other is a measure of volume. If you're talking about water, then 1 ml = 1 gm, so 37.5 g of water occupies a volume of 37.5 mls
James125
It is for Praziquantel which would be thicker than water, The density thing has me confused as to how i can convert them
James125
Have now sorted it, cheers
alanmin4304
If the prazi is in liquid form you will need to know what the concentration is. E.G. if it is a 50% solution w/v (50 grams/100 mls) then if you want 37.5 grams you will need to add 75mls of liquid, and if it is a 25%w/v stock solution you will need to add 150mls. The same principle will apply if you have it in tablet form as they will not be 100% active ingredient.
