Shoppers
Is the black plastic irragation tubing and fittings ok to use in a aquarium? The price is right, its all 13mm (or 19mm) and has push and clip fittings so no glue involved. Would be 2 breeding tanks, a grow out tank and a sump Would cleaning the pipes be an issue? Already thinking that I would need 19mm for the returns Cheers Steve
Likoma
No worries there mate. I use it quite a bit and haven't had any issues. Make sure you cable tie the connections in place.
F15hguy
lol, most commercial setups are using that stuff as well as regular pvc piping. in 5 years I only had to clean out 2 points in over 3km of piping and that was due to planaria buildup (pipe had dropped into water) just make a small down pipe with a tap on the end so you can flush the system easily

Brilliant idea, i brought some clips for 50 cents each so cable ties will save me quite a bit
Shoppers
Getting the final bits together for this, its getting exciting I use an old sieve to scoop up any large bits after a water change, have an idea that a larger one could be useful as the first filter in the sump, then a coarse and fine layer, then filter wool then onto the bio balls and noodles Overkill?
