karina
Hi I am setting up a bigger tank for my JD, Severum and Gold Saum. Decided to move away from sand as its a pain in the butt. Any recommendations on the best colour for the gravel? I was thinking a dark grey. Cheers Karina
critter_crazy
I always say you can't go wrong with brightwater
SamH
I always say you can't go wrong with brightwater  Agreed. It'll make the fish you have stand out.
karina
I do have 3/4 of a bucket of a fine gravel that is mostly grey with bits of brown from a tank I pulled down a few months ago. Don't think you can get it anymore but I have always liked it. Seen on trade me a gravel called "shadow" that looks similar to it. Will look into brightwater though. Options for gravel in LFS around Hamilton is pretty limited.
Fruju
Charcoal grit. Darker is nearly always better IMO
