DennisP
I have a small plastic cup with glad wrap over the top with whiteworms in it. Of course there is damp earth and food for them, however everyday more and more worms are climbing to the top of the container and finding a way out. Why are they doing this? Should I change something?

Zev
I use a square Systema click top box with a few holes drilled in the lid - they do not escape from that! They normally climb the walls, is the container in a dark place? This is the type of box, http://www.fnzas.org.nz/?p=461 Grindals are just smaller whiteworms. alanmin4304
grindals do better if they are warmer and wetter than whiteworms.
F15hguy
I find whiteworms try and escape if the soil is too wet or too acidic
alanmin4304
If you only have them in a small container they probably will try to escape. I have had massive cultures of them and they never try to escape.
