Joshlikesfish Posted July 17, 2012 Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 Hey guys I hear that BGK's will eat fishes eyes out, so I was wondering if they still would with small fancy plecs? My partner is insistant that her 10-15cm bgk wont do any harm to the fancy plecs I plan on putting in our display tank but I don't want to risk it. Any feed back or experience? Godly3vil Posted July 17, 2012 Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 Hey man, I have a 30cm+ BGK in my community tank and the only fish it seems to attack on a regular basis are my 2 plecs, doesn't do any serious damage just a few ripped fins and that. Saying that all fish can be different and yours might be fine with plecs, you won't know till you try it I guess. If I were you I would try it out with some cheap ones for a few months like BN and common sailfins and if it doesn't bother them you should be fine. HTH.
