boban_nz Posted July 14, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 These are not my fish. I just took the picture of them in the tank that I use to photograph fish. I chose one that showed a bit of red colour on the body and as soon as I put the fish in the tank it fell in love with Labeo sp. and that was the beginning of the show. The rainbow fish became so beautiful, a fully coloured fish. The fish has been imported as M. Praecox var. and that is all I know. I have never seen any solid references that M. Praecox var. exist other than a few statement about that. This good rainbow fishes book has a bit about M.
