Likoma
I was fortunate enough to have recently been involved with a film being shot in my local area. I was the 'fish wrangler" and stocked the tank with some fish. The tank in question was made by Port Nicholson glass and measures 3m x .3m x.5m. Very heavy For the actual shooting we had to herd the fish into position for the tight shots. Was a very cool experience. As payment I got to keep the tank and stand, which has just been installed in the garage. I have divided it into 7 separate enclosure with PORET foam in different densities and will be running a submersible that pipes the water to the far end of the tank. Yes it would be great to use it as a show tank but its just not feasible at the moment.
smidey
any idea why they only made it 300mm deep? i saw a 4m tank last night, it was massive.
Likoma
Tank was designed with the set in mind, its only 300 wide and 500 high. Its got a laminated base and takes a few people to move it,so i couldnt imagine how heavy a 4m must be.

Yes, would be much more interesting 500 wide and 300 high - that wound make for a fabulous 'stream'
