Sophia
vid of wiggle-swimming and wonky tail http://youtu.be/AQOEaaoj2EA Found one of my dwarf rasbora swimming about very odd just now and on closer inspection looks like he had a bite out of his underside just after the fin. It could at a push have been done by the other fish but I don't know if any of them have mouths that big. I thought that if it had been trapped in the filter it's tail would have been more mashed. Has anyone else seen this before? I have put this one to sleep. The rasbora are slowly reducing in numbers, I found one that had been dead a little while a couple of weeks ago, no obvious reasons. There were 12 and now I think I have 9 or 10. I wonder if these mini fish are not so hardy anyway. Any thoughts??
Sunbird73
looks like a bite to me, thats a decent chunk missing :dunno: What are they in with, dwarf chain loaches? Did a quick google and found an account of dwarf chain loaches attacking and killing guppies.... so its possible :dunno: :dunno:
Sophia
hmm that's interesting. The loaches do chase them a little bit but only at feeding time when I first put the food in.
maxximuscool
It could be a small bite but infected.
