fishy-fish
I need to buy new filter media for my aqua one 2250UV-C canister filter which I will be using on a 200L tank holding africans. Which media would you recommend? I'm looking at bulk buying (up to 10kg) so that I have spare media to rotate out my 3 other cannys. I heard bio balls are best in a wet/dry or trickle sumps? I would normally just pull the trigger on ceramic noodles, but the sintered glass has got me interested. It's more expensive, so is it better? Advice please! :dunno:
Zayne
i believe sintered glass has more surface area than normal ceramic noodles
LYNDYLOO
I use sintered glass media in all my Canister Filters, wouldn't use anything else, used to use the Bio Balls, but find the Sintered glass way better
