Caryl Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 Give them a good scrub if they have algae or something on them. Check holes and crevices for bugs. You might want to check they are inert. Put them in a container and pour a little vinegar on them. If it fizzes then don't use it unless you want to raise the pH.
