haha yea cats a pain lol.

i was breeding them and had them laying but got eaten by my plecs

yea got the oscar about 2 weeks ago and hes grown alot

thats just a young one im growing up i think its about 6cm now hows those ones i gave you doing bro?

hi bro, dont even try to breed them. the eggs will neva be hatched

i know about the infertility of them but have read on some sites that they have succesfully hatched but need really high temps and lots of aeration i think a 10 litre tank would need 200lh aeration or something but have now sold the group for 230 anyways so onto next breeding project.

well thats a bit mean, he is allowed to try if he wants and if they do hatch what will you say then?

not being mean. the blood parrot is kind of man-made cichlid, they do not have ability to breed. Blood parrots will attempt to breed in an aquarium and some pairs attempt to breed very frequently (every few weeks). What most people find is that a pair will court, clean a nest site and then lay eggs. However, the eggs do not hatch in many cases. The parents will continue to care for the eggs for several days until the eggs turn white with fungus and then the parents will likely eat the eggs.

oh im sorry for saying that, I thought you could breed them easily
