beachy
Hey all , I'm new to Tropheus  , and I've been doing a bit of reading on the net about feeding them. I've come across heaps of conflicting info :dunno: , as you do with the web. I found this page, it was a really good read :cofn: , check it out.... http://www.newlife.ipbhost.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=

ryanjury
It is a good article There are tons of them here http://www.cichlid-food-canada.com/ that I have read too, you do always have to apply a scaling factor when something is written by or for the manufacturer though would be nice to see some independent research done.. In saying that I feed NLS and find it a great food

henward
read that before. I think good quality brands are much of a muchness really. in saying that, i have only used discus formula, thera a formula and large fish formula in the past. i still found that HIkari has had the best growth and a more active fish, in terms of colours, my flowerhorn developed way stronger colours after fedding hikari than feeding NLS thats my experience. Massivore to me is the best food i have ever seen in growing and putting mass on fish, NLS has an equivalent food but they dont import it here yet, havent tried that. but i think as long as it is a good quality, it will be a good food. i still personally use hikari, and in fact, use ONLY hikari.
