Apparently there are three types of Limnophila aromatica-type plants - aromatica, hippuridoides and aromaticoides. L. hippuridoides always has red foliage, L. aromatica green to red (depending on conditions I assume), while aromaticoides always has green foliage. I googled L. aromaticoides (and it came up with a lot if pics of aromatica also :-? ) and it looks exactly like the stuff we have here - green, and with shorter, broader leaves than aromatica. So that's probably why people have been having a hard time getting it to turn red - because it's physically impossible for this particular species. Still quite a nice plant though, but it would be nicer if we had the proper aromatica Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
