mrzsnorkel
Im looking at going for a river walk later to search some cool tank items. i already have river sand and a root ornament and a large floating driftwood (still trying 2 water lock it after 1-2yrs) and im looking at making a mangrove like tank-setup. i would love to remove this large driftwood as its a bit big so yeh can i use any wood found, pref ones that sink hahaha
Li@m
To water log your piece of wood you need to force it and keep it under water by placing a rock or sumthing on it. The wood to stay away from is Pine cuase it has sumthing in the sap. Ther are others but i can't remeber them. HTH.
Caryl
Native woods are really good. Make sure anything you pick up has not got rotten bits on it. You don't want anything that is dripping sap.
