calculator
I have access to loads of dead tee tree, and i was wondering if it could be used as drift wood, and what would need to do to make it aquarium safe.
the-obstacle
Yeah, it's really good aquarium wood. It'll release a lot of tannins in it's first year or so. Soak it for a few weeks then strip all the bark and put in the desired tank.

henward
All my driftwood is this wood. very good, also they sink rapidly. i kept mine in the sun for a few weeks, then soaked untill sank and put in the sun for another 2 weeks, this loosened u the bark. then put in the tnak after a scrub, the bark is nice, puts a leaf litter type thing in the tank, also the plecs loved dislodging the bark! awesome wood also if you get one with a trunk about 3 to 5 inches in diameter, the root system is very good
