goldfishlover47 Posted October 30, 2011 Report Share Posted October 30, 2011 hello i have got a aponogeton in my tropical tank it has brown leaves as if it was dying but has got some green ones as well i have had it like this since i baught it 3 months ago and produced about 6 baby plants already the babys have the same thing what is this? A-town... Posted October 30, 2011 Report Share Posted October 30, 2011 It depends on which species of aponogeton you are talking about. Some do not require rest periods. If it produces vegatively its probably aponogeton undulatus. I have seen it go brown in cooler conditions and when the water warms up its takes over the aquarium.
