Faulty CO2 solenoid valve

Faulty solenoid

I purchased an "up" branded co2 regulator from EBay a couple of months ago, and after little use the solenoid has failed. Basically it no longer allows co2 to pass through the regulator when switched on and now has started making a humming sound while powered.

Is anyone familiar with this problem / regulator? I have seen they do sell replacement solenoids on ebay. But, if I can fix the fault myself it would be a lot easier than ordering and waiting for a part to arrive from China.

Cheers,

F

I bought a NZ one to replace a failed one on a setup I was given and it cost $170. You pays your money and takes your pick. Buy two cheapies.

OOOFFF!! :o

Geeze Alan, anything like you gotta remember to give me a ring, I'd source you a stainless industrial grade one for a fraction of that!

I look after those who have done me favours and the scale is tipped your way atm.
