mcrudd
My puffertank (freshwater dwarf) is riddled with algae, I scrape it with my magnet cleaner atleast twice a week. I have now put some ambulia and some other plant in it to try and see if it will do the same as my main community tank, where I hardly have any algae since my live plants. But there is still lots of algae, my puffers ate two ottos (they are blimming pricey too) and they masacre snails as I put them in, they kill each and everyone and then start eating, so I am stuck with ideas on what I could put in with them that would survive to keep the algae under control for me, any ideas ? puffertank community
Li@m
snails, lots of em. or sum LDA25s which are armored versions of otos, but i don't know how long they will survive. they might get harassed to death. (the LDA25s are $35 each if i remember correctly). HTH.
Squirt
Snails won't work, puffers will eat them all or if they are MTS the may break their beak. Edit: I remember when I did my research when I had puffers, ottos work well. HTH
