shelties
Hi there, Can you keep a male bristlenose catfish by itself in a community tank or does it need company of its own kind to be happy? I would happily have two males but will they do OK in an 80 Litre tank?
antwan
You might get trouble between two adult males. I used to have two big adults together ages ago and they used to fight all the time. Get him a female though and I think he'd be pretty chuffed. ryanjury
You can keep them alone they are fine, they would probably chill out alone most of the time in the wild only coming together to breed..

Caryl
They are fine on their own and I have also had groups of males who only fought over food. Never hurt each other though.
