nicmack
I have an aqua one 980 that has been established for sometime and a seramic ph/co2 controller - what I am noting is that the PH keeps on dropping to 6.5 and I have it set at 7 therefore because the PH is dropping all the time the CO2 does not come on enough..any suggestions for keeping the ph up without causing drastic changes? Bird grit or coral in the filter would be my suggestion. Couple handfuls should add enough buffering and increase the PH a bit over 7. alanmin4304
CO2 dissolves in water to form carbonic acid so if you inject CO2 the pH will drop. I don't think you can make acid and maintain a pH of
