tjc
hi all im wondering if you can give me some ideas, im going for a new look in my african cichlid community tank and i need to catch the fish i want to get rid off, the problem is i have to take evry piece of coral out to catch anything. there is probably 50 odd fry hiding in the coral and if i can help it i dont want them all getting eaten when i remove the coral. what can i do to try and prevent this
smidey
i have had fry hiding under rock work but when i remove it the adult fish are more worried about me netting them than trying to eat the fry. it shouldn't be too difficult but you may need to be quick. fishy-fish
yeah, my experience is like smidey - when you're pullling the tank apart the adults are more concerned about you than chasing fry. I've never lost a fry to a meal in this situation. Good luck!
