ryanjury Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 TBH it is not looking good and I have never had a fish recover from it, sometimes the fry can get unstuck and things can come out but usually the remaining fry go septic inside the fish and it rots or just bursts and dies.. So you don't loose anything by trying there is actually a thread somewhere where pink_fish did surgery on a fish with something stuck in its mouth they put it to sleep with clove oil and did the surgery they revived it and it worked.. lickindip Posted August 1, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 :tears: always happens to the best looking one in the tank :an!gry managed to get the majority out and she was swimming with a bit of a buoyancy issue (expected with that much of a change) Fry weren't moving so still under developed. kinda glad i did it now as she would have gotten HUGE and been even more 'discomforted' moved the light in the far corner of the tank so she could have a bit of piece in the weeds in the other end but didn't workout guess some of my guppies just have a high sperm count Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
