Sunsun canister filters?

Hi guys,

I'm looking at adding an additional filter onto my AR850 (already has the built in wet/dry filter).

Not looking to spend too much money (under $100) since its only for back up filtration.

Would this be any good? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Pets-animals/Fish/Pumps-filters/auction-392893013.htm

Or is it worth the extra to splash out and get this? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Pets-animals/Fish/Pumps-filters/auction-393297814.htm

Do they come with all the attachments you need etc.?

I haven't had a canister filter before so any advice is appreciated. Thanks! :hail:

don't you work at a vet clinic? i've got a mate who works at a vets and she gets really good discounts off aqua one products. i run a couple of aqua one cf1200s and while i've only had them a couple of months they seem very robust and good value.

I got one 2 weeks ago and am very pleased with it. It only came with a small amount of filter wool as media though, any other media was stated as optional. I will get the largest model at the end of the year, it has a built in uv filter which I have taken a shine too.

Nah I wish! Studying a vert nursing cert from home.

I've spoken to the guy on trademe and he's giving me a good deal :happy2:

oh well, one day. are you getting it through boxturtle. he's really good, i've bought a few things off him. might look at the sunsun filters if i'm allowed to set up a 2nd tank. pick up the tank tommorow and have all the materials to make the stand in the garage. just have to get the nod from the mrs
