myfishybuisness Posted July 14, 2011 Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 ok just wondering if my red spots will be ok in a 3ft tank, its quiet deep,and about 45cm wide, its 186L , at the moment they have a big 4ft X 50cm square to themselves, any way when they are getting ready to breed the male is very agro, and will chase the female all around the tank (even in the 4ft with lots of wood) so my question is will they be ok in the 3ft? and any tips to help the female with this aggression but still allow them to breed?, oh by the way they are around 20cm each thanks in advance :thup: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

disgustipated Posted August 3, 2011 Report Share Posted August 3, 2011 i find turning down the temperature reduces aggression in my american cichlid community tank. i gradually reduced the temp from 28, and i now keep the temp around 21-23 celcius.
