Joutei
Hi guys I use silica sand as my substrate , and i was wondering if plants will grow in it? I heard gravel is better, but i like silica sand. If plants is possible in a silica sand based aquarium, what do i need to do to achieve some nice growth and healthy plants? jim r
I have hairgrass growing in white silica sand and it is thriving, however silica sand attracts the dirt and algae which means regular maintenance.
