hi my name is Lyn and I live on the north shore.

I have an AR850 165lt tank with the standard pump and 3 tube light.

In it I have

1 male molly 1 female molly

1 male guppy 2 female guppy

1 male platy 3 female platy

5 penguin tetra 15 neon tetra

2 bronze corydora 2 bumblebee goby

2 golden algae eaters

I do regular water changes and test for ammonia, nitrite and ph before each change. ph is at 7 other tests are clear.

apart from the adult penguins hating each other and everyone else, and the large algae eater picks on the little one, all the fish seem happy.

I have only been at this for about 6 months and I just know there's so much I can learn from you guys. I'm never really quite sure if I'm doing it all ok.

Hi Lyn,.. great to have you here and welcome to our ever growing group.

You said...

If you have kept your fish alive and well for six months already.. then it seems you are on the right track :)

Lots of other members from over the bridge, and if you are into joining a local club, then Kim would be the one to talk to... and if you want to meet a few members, then the chat room gets pretty active on an evening around 9pm.

The guys will be along to say hello very shortly :)

Good selection of fish you have BTW :)

Bill.

Welcome aboard.

You have definately come to the right place to learn.

I have learnt so much already, and learn new things everyday...thanks to the wonderful members here

Welcome aboard Lynnz. May I suggest you join the North Shore Aquarium Society? Kim in here is their president and she works at Pupuke Aquariums so next time you visit there, introduce yourself.

Jump in Lynnz, the water's fine.

See you tonite maybe
