ryanjury
They are in NZ and a few people have them but there is noone actively breeding them in any numbers, I am hoping to change that if I can get hold of some

smidey
i had 12 rustys sucked out of a tumbler today  why tumble? i find it so much easier just to wait & strip when they are free swimming
ryanjury
Talked to Matt the other day and he said that the fish had spat when he moved her so he chucked the eggs in a tumbler to see what would happen..
Matto
yea my 5min DIY worked really well and im quite surprised but i think its because the eggs were already starting to form into fry which made the time in the tumbler a lot less but they got eaten anyway :an!gry
smidey
a while back one of my peacock females would spit her eggs if i tried to net her, it was every time she was holding & no matter at what stage she would simply freak out & spit them. I have not had any other females of any kind do this so i hope for your sake she isn't the same.
