henward
ok. my water change system allows me to feed and feed with minimal work! but one problem, i have a slight black beard infestation! thats not the problem, problem is that only in one tank,RTG tank , black beard spots grow on the front of the glass. it so hard to remove with my magnetic scrubber, i have go use filterwool and get my arm in the tank and rub it off. any ideas how to remotely remove these? with out getting wet? haha the clown tank doesnt have that problme on the glass, whcih is weird as the two tanks share the same system. Zev
Someone, can't remember who, used to advertise in the commercial section a plastic scraper that attached to a magnetic holder, was possibly for marines, but would help you not getting your arm wet! ryanjury
You can get long scrapers with razors in them that have long handles that might do the trick..

Mikey
Plastic cards in wallets (Credit cards) make awesome scrapers... nothing stands up to them. As long as you're prepared to get arm wet, though you could maybe try attach one to a long handle if you really don't want a wet arm. I use a subway club card that I was given to scrape the glass, does great job.
