Mum got me a small plastic tank ( for safety) which is Approximately 41cm Long, 28cm Wide and 30cm Deep, it has a filter/pump and a few plants.

Can you advise how many gold fish are ok in this size.

Would like one blackmoor (one black one is good luck) a gold fish and a few mountain minnows if able to.

Appreciate any advice , mum will make sure I dont put too many in.

Thanks :D

Hi and welcome blackcat. A tank that size is really too small for goldfish as they grow big. They would be OK for a wee while but would then need a bigger home.

Mountain minnows would be good in there though. Would you be happy with just a school of them? Otherwise, one blackmoor would be ok for a while.

Hi Blackcat, when you wake up tomorrow you can have a look at the picture of my small tank, probably smaller than yours. I have two small goldfish in it but I think their growth is stunted because they don't seem to be getting any bigger.

I hope you enjoy your fish tank and that your fish are very happy with you.
