purplecatfish Posted January 8, 2011 Report Share Posted January 8, 2011 Well I finally have managed to hatch some red spot severum fry :happy1: I've been readily able to get my red spot severums to spawn, by feeding them on mealworms and doing a water change, for quite a while now. But the've never managed to hatch the eggs themselves because they seemed forget to guard the eggs at night. So I took the last lot of eggs off them and put them in a 15L tank with 5ml of methylene blue. (This is the first time I've bred a species of fish, as opposed to letting them breed themselves). And now I have lots of little fry with yolk sacs :happy1: ...Also I've got a male bristlenose with a brood of fry :happy1: So now all I have to do is keep them alive for 30 days...
