Brennos
I have had these 2 rams for about 4 -5 months. No issues with either until now. I fed them last night, and noticed one of them has a swollen belly, that has turned white. it was sitting near the bottom, and seemed to be breathing/gasping on the bottom of the tank ( i didnt see if he ate any blood worms). I did a brief google search that returned no decent responses, and hoped it was just a case of overeating. I just got home and checked the tank, and noticed that the same fish was stuck on the filter intake. Fearing the worst I pulled it out, and realised it is still alive. The belly is still heavily swollen, seems to be unable to swim with any strength, and seems to just sit against things. I have him in a net at present, any ideas what it could be? Constipation, should i try a shelled pea? the other ram in the tank is fine, the discus in the tank seem fine, and the cardinals are fine too. so only this fish seems affected. Does anyone have any ideas? Do you need more info?

Ismart120
Sorry to hear, looked like a really nice fish. And I would think maybe a bacterial thing in the gut, I don't think it looked too much like dropsy.
