CatBrat
I want to paint the backs and sides (outside) of my tanks. I have tried using some semi-gloss water based enamel (it was all I had lying around in the right colour) but it peeled off before it even made contact with water! So what is the best sort to use? Cheers, CatBrat.
Caryl
I always used spray paint in the cans

kim
IF YOU WANT BLACK use black board paint i have that on my dupla tank and its been on for 12yrs and looks as good as the day i put it on. or as caryl said spray can works good but i do find black board paint gives a longe lasting finish
CatBrat
Thanks guys!! The black board paint was what I was thinking of too Kim. I was given some tanks that I think have this on it and it looks great! Its pretty expensive though. Wheres the best place to get it from? Cheers, CatBrat. kim
i use bunnings as they match any price by 10% so get prices and if someone has it cheeper go to bunnings with the paper and they will do you a better deal. it is higher price than spray can but it will last much longer as i said mine looks as good as the day i painted it.
