My frog eats the beetles with no hesitation, not that I generally feed them to him though... Maybe it depends on the temperament of the animal. Jason22 Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 i feed them to my frogs when i am short of food and they don't seem to mind them, but these are large frogs, i would not try them with a to smaller reptile. Not saying they don't bite because i believe they do, definity would not leave them in the enclose over night. i only use them as a last resort. they also have a hard shell that may be hard to digest. henward Posted September 11, 2010 Report Share Posted September 11, 2010 int eh wild, beardies and blueys, probably more beardies as blueys are slow. will eat beetles ofa ll forms in the wild. i wouldnt feed small lizards like leopard geckos beetles though, but in saying that, mine has eaten a couple before.... no harm done.
