Aquila
Also remember if you have 2500 cash then you do have some bargaining power and it is not unrealistic to walk out with something that started off selling for $3000 Very good point that I forgot to mention. Harvey Norman likes when people pay in full and will give you a further discount. The guy I talked to at the time said he could do another 8% discount off sticker price. SamH
4GB ram (its only downside for me as i was looking for 6-8 but i can upgrade later if i want) What do you need more for?
phoenix44
It comes with a 64 bit system. Its prob DDR 3 which means if you match your RAM you could run 3x 2GB at TriChannel.
Aquila
Because 4GB ram will be outdated in about 2 years and I want my laptop lasting longer than that without any noticeable speed decrease. Websites and programs are consistently being upgraded and becoming more resource heavy. 2GB was amazing years ago... why not anymore? What do you need more for? acara
I also can't reccomend Toshiba enough.I have just bought(about a month ago)the Satellite A660-14c.I'm not much clued up when it comes to pc's,but the basic specs are as follows, RAM 4GB Processor: Intel Core i3 500GB HDD Blu-Ray RE-WRITER 16" widescreen Windows 7 Hone Premium. Cant remember graphics,as I dont play games, but think its about 512mb,and is more than good enough for playing discs and videos, etc. I paid €899 here in Dublin,so it should come in under $2k. It really is the doggies doo-dackies.
