fishcoaster
hi guys am new to killies and today got a new tank for free which i am stoked about. Its slightly larger than 90l and in good nick would really love to get some killies but i have never had them before. my questions are what are the basics with killies? [all i know is tight fitting lid and this one has it] and where in the world can i get some? cheers
Barrie
the best bet is to join the club The club is sort of a register for them so that if a member looses theirs, they may be able to save the specie by borrowing from others or buying from them so that way we dont loose a specie here in NZ Other than that see if Hollywoods have them as Im sure they will ship if they have
Zev
Which killies are you interested in, they have different 'basics' depending on which ones they are. If you are looking at a display tank only you could go with several different species of males - providing one does not fit in the other's mouth
fishcoaster
thats the problem was thinking of giving breeding a go but would like to keep a few corries with them and maybe some guppies the odd tetra. so wouldnt mind a couple of different types, i like the clowns. any suggestions would be great.
