Guest
have you got a pic of them. you may have only one sex. I got a pair of normal finned gold rams today so will hopefully start breedingthem again if these turn out to be a male and female pair (extremely ard to sex the golds for some reason). Guest
not always. sometimes the only way to tell is the anal fin or the dorsal fin
Guest
Are you planning on setting up a tank for them to breed in? Heres my tank setup. I always seem to setup my ram breeding tanks the same way and it seems to work well. I just put a few rocks in there so they make a stable formation and then stick a few plants inbetween the gaps in the rocks. I decided to put a pot in the setup this time so hopefully they'll use it. heres a pic
myfishybuisness
um yes i am setting up a tank i just put a few flats stones ore pebbles and plants in and usally that does it i also feed them up on bloodworms

Guest
u gota love the pot 8) I find if they think trheir fry are threatened and they can't, move them to a place which they think is safe and secure they eat them. if you give them a place to breed where they feel like it's safe you're more likely to get eggs and hopefully fry.
