Nymox
I just went to get some daphnia outside and there wasnt many at all, there is alot of algae in the drum so I thought I should take some out as the daph could be hiding in it. Threw some on the ground and noticed this: It lives in water I know that much, it didnt like being pulled out.

Aquila
Dragonfly larva. If you think that's gross, you should look at its mouth under a dissecting microscope. Let just say that I know where the movie 'alien' got its inspiration!

Nymox
lol yeah, this is the frog that ate the other 2 lol, I remember reading that dragonfly larva eat tadpoles hes well beyond that point. It doesnt look like any dragonfly larva ive seen though, might still be early then. They usually look like the one in the pic, vicious but not gross. breakaway
I saw something similar in my A.H.T daphnia. My puffers ate it though.
Nymox
Well I threw in 2 guppy fry, if I put him in with the guppies it will get eaten in a flash. The guppy fry are still there and the larva is hiding under a rock.
