Zayne
if you have a breeding pair of fish and they have those little black spots would they come out on the babies?
Caryl
Depends on the species. Genetics also comes into it. Or do you mean an adult fish with black spots and whether the fry have the spots from birth or whether they develop as the fish gets older? Adrienne
You really need to tell us what fish you are talking about Sometimes fry are born with black spots, sometimes they develop as the fish matures, and sometimes it depends what you are feeding the fish on. ryanjury
I think it also depends on how happy the fish is and the colour of the substrate etc some fish darken up or lighten depending on their surroundings.
