andy120
Hi I have recently changed to a bigger tank and for some reason my angels have gone bonkers. They try to jump out or crash hard into the sides. What would cause that? The cory and pleco are not bothered. Many thanks Andy
Southerrrngirrl
A bit more detail required. Size of tank, number of angels you have? How long have they been in the new tank? Have you tested the water for ammonia, nitrate, nitrite etc?
Southerrrngirrl
Another thought, I'm not sure if its correct since I have no experience with angels and I don't know how territorial they are, but perhaps they're a bit upset with the new tank. The move may have upset their pecking order/territories?
Nymox
Ive moved mine a bit and they have never gone bonkers. Usually a bit of aggression to start with while they resort the pecking orders. Perhaps it is water condition, how long has the new tank been set up for? has it had a chance to cycle well? What size is it and how many of each fish do you have in there? Olly
Is there direct sunlight on the tank? I have found that can cause them to spaz for no good reason, and making sure the sun couldn't get them fixed it
