Jaxxnz
FLying Foxxxx! I wake up this morning and 1 of my flying fox was dead..murder by one of the fish in the in tank! A quick autopsy before I rush to work, both eyes and internal gut has been taken.. Conclusion: Heavy stock community..Old aging. I had them in the CTank for 3 years now, both FFox were great, I enjoy watching them shooting from one end to end.. I still have 1 FFox remain and he will be remove out to a smaller tank when i get home 2nite! phoenix44
fish; even the non aggressive ones will eat the gut and eyes once the fish is dead. it could have died cause of any thing really.
Caryl
I agree. The squishy stuff will have been eaten after the fish was dead, not necessarily the cause. If the fish was only 3 yrs old then old age was not a factor. You should get a lot more years than that from a flying fox.
Jaxxnz
Thxs guys, the fish was brought from a friend, as they were adult already, anyway I keeping my tiny little eyes on the Chocolate cichlids I'am pointing the finger at them! as Chinese new year I'm empty pocket any moment, I thinking of scraping my 280lt and getting 6ft tank once my bankl roll is healthy!
