steikheigel
not sure this is the right place for this post but... my seamonkey tank (yes i have seamonkeys, i'm not responsible enough for fish) has grown what looks like an algae of some manner at the moment it looks like 2 small balls of dark green fluff (~.5cm diameter) and floats during the day/ sinks at night (so is obviously photosynthesising) but what might it be? just curious
Caryl
Just algae. Won't harm anything.
Zev
Piccy of said algae? Don't talk to me about Sea Monkeys - Madam-eight-year-old wants some. Somehow brineshrimp in a jar with an airstone is not the same in her eyes?
steikheigel
was just curoius as to what it might be, will try to get a pic tonight got them for my birthday, after a tragic year of pet ownership. Very rewarding pets (in my opinion, but apparently i'm wierd for saying theyre cute  )- but cant be so different to brine shrimp and an airstone
Zev
I suppose it is the purpose made accommodation with the magnifying view ports and coloured base and top that beats a manky old curry jar?
supasi
I suppose it is the purpose made accommodation with the magnifying view ports and coloured base and top that beats a manky old curry jar? that and probably the name on the packets. Brine Shrimp does not sound anywhere near as fun as Sea Monkeys. LOL
SamH
I say get her a 6 foot tank and fill it with the things, heck, even cut holes for magnifying glasses. Tell her she can even go snorkeling with them!
